Former Bellator featherweight champion Pat Curran is set to duke it out with former RFA featherweight champion Justin Lawrence at Bellator 145.
After an impressive six-fight win streak that spanned from 2011-2013, Curran (21-7) has not been able to produce two consecutive wins. He is 2-3 in his last five bouts but he is coming off a decision win over Emmanuel Sanchez.
After a brief stint in the UFC in which he compiled a 1-2 record, Lawrence (8-2) was released and signed to the RFA. The RFA has become a feeder league of sorts to the UFC so many thought that after a few more fights under his belt Lawrence would eventually jump back to the UFC. That turned out not to be the case. After winning the RFA featherweight championship, Lawrence was signed to Bellator MMA. He was successful in his debut against Sean Wilson at Bellator 138.
Bellator 145 takes place on November 6 from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri and will air live on Spike TV.
