On Saturday night the crowd in Nashville, Tennessee saw local product Ovince Saint Preux take on former title challenger Glover Teixeira in the main event of the UFC’s Fight Night card.

Preux surprised many with this stand up and landed a hard liver shot to Teixeira, who had no other choice but to take the fight down to the mat. While on the ground Teixeira was able to easily gain the mount position and land strikes. In the third round while Preux was trying to reposition himself from his back to his knees and that was all Teixeira needed to secure a rear-naked choke forcing Preux to tap.
