Invicta FC returned on Thursday night as part of the UFC’s International Fight week with a card that held three title bouts on it. The main event featured the company’s star, featherweight champion Cris “Cyborg” Justino, defending her title against Faith Van Duin. Also on the card were two other title bouts, Tonya Evinger and Ayaka Hamasaki were crowned the Invicta FC batmanweight and atomweight champion respectively.
Cyborg only needed 45-seconds to put away Van Duin with a TKO. Cyborg preyed upon Van Duin until a punching combination landed and wobbled the New Zealand fighter to the cage. Cyborg followed it up with a vicious knee that sent the fight to the ground. Once Van Duin hit the mat, Cyborg pounced and after a few punches were landed the fight was officially stopped.
