A bantamweight match up between Eddie Wineland and Bryan Caraway has been added to the UFC on Fox card in Chicago, Illinois. The fight was announced on Friday afternoon.

Wineland (21-10-1) is a former bantamweight title challenger and has taken part in big time fights with Renan Barao, Joseph Benavidez, and Urijah Faber. He has been out of action since May of 2014 after suffering a broken jaw in his bout against Johnny Eduardo.

Caraway (19-7) is looking to bounce back from his lost to bantamweight title contender Raphael Assuncao back in October of 2014. Caraway is also looking to gain some consistency as he is has gone 2-2 in his last four fights. It should be interesting to note that Caraway’s longtime girlfriend Miesha Tate is also on this card. She will take on Jessica Eye in a crucial women’s bantamweight bout.

UFC on Fox 16 will take place on July 25 from the United Center in Chicago and will be headlined by a rematch between bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw and Renan Barao.
