Ronda Rousey Done With WWE For Now

Ronda Rousey’s manager sure knows how to spoil a party. Brad Slater who represents Rousey told “UFC Tonight” on Wednesday that her appearance at WrestleMania 31 was a “one-off” proposition and that there are no plans for Rousey to return to work with the WWE anytime soon.

While it was not expected for Rousey to jump in the wrestling ring and participate in actual match but he could have at least played along with it for awhile or as they say in the wrestling business, gone kayfabe. Rousey’s tweets after WreslteMania were fun and even stated that she and the Rock were “just gettin’ started”. Slater could have been just as playful in his response on “UFC Tonight” with a wink to the camera but instead we received a rather boring response.

The good news is there is always WrestleMania 32 in Dallas next year. As for now, if you want to see more Ronda Rousey then head to a movie theater near you and check out “Furious 7” which opens everywhere Easter weekend. As far as in ring or in octagon action, Rousey will be heading to Brazil to defend her bantamweight championship against Bethe Corriea at UFC 190 on August 1st.
