A welterweight bout between Carlos Condit and Demian Maia that was originally scheduled to take place at UFC 202 has been moved to the UFC on Fox card that will be held on August 27th.

The bout will now be the night’s main event. The UFC confirmed the move on its official Twitter account.

UFC 202 is scheduled to take place on August 20th so both fighters will have an extra week to prepare for the five round main event. This fight now joins a card that will feature the featherweight debut of former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis as he takes on Charles Oliveira. Also scheduled for the night is the anticipated return of Paige VanZant as she faces “Ultimate Fighter” alum Bec Rawlings.
