WSOF 25 Official Weigh-In Results

The World Series of Fighting will host a lightweight tournament to determine who will be next to challenge current champion Justin Gaethje. The eight-man tournament will take place at WSOF 25 on Friday November 20. However before any of that could happen all the fighters first had to make weight and on Thursday the official weigh-ins took place.

All eight men involved in the tournament made weight but not without a little bit of drama being involved. Two of the eight fighters initially weighed in over the limit that could have really put a hinder on the tournament. Joao Zeferino first weighed in at 156.2 pounds which was only 0.2 pounds over the limit. He would make weight on his second attempt coming in at exactly 156-pounds.  Joe Candon, on the other hand, had a bigger weight cut as he first came in at 157.4 pounds. Candon had nearly two pounds to cut to be eligible for the tournament. The fighter was able to make weight and on his second attempt came in at 155.8 pounds.

WSOF 25 will take place at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona and air live on the NBC Sports Network.
