For the first time since 2011, the UFC will have someone other than Jon Jones carry the light heavyweight championship. Anthony “Rumble” Johnson will take on Daniel Cormier for the right to be called the new UFC light heavyweight champion. With just a little under a month before UFC 187 was scheduled to take place, Jon Jones was charged with a felony hit and run and now faces a lengthy legal battle.  It was the latest and final straw for the UFC as they suspended Jones indefinitely and stripped him of his title.
