Undefeated welterweight prospect Michael “Venom” Page is set to return at Bellator 140 on July 17. Page is 3-0 under the Bellator banner with two of those wins coming by way of knockout. Page has been described as a point-fighter whose unorthodox style has led to many exciting performances.
Page (7-0) was originally schedule to take part of Bellator’s “British Invasion” card back in February but had to pull out due to an injury. He will now look to continue his undefeated way when he faces Rudy Bears (16-13).
Bears is currently on a two-fight win streak and last competed in Bellator in 2012 where he lost to Paul Daley via knockout.
Bellator 140 will take place on July 17 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. The card is expected to be headlined by welterweight champion Douglas Lima and his challenger Andrey Koreshkov. If Page comes out the victor against Bears then he would be lined up perfectly for a title shot in the future.
