Miesha Tate and Jessica Eye are scheduled to duke it out on July 25th at the UFC on Fox card but on Thursday the two women have already begun to duke it on via social media. It began when Tate posted an image in her Instagram account of her signature on the bout agreement.

Tate was sure to tag Eye in the post asking the Ohio fighter about her contract status, “Hey @jessicaevileye where you at girl?! Now that we actually have real contracts to sign mine is done where is yours?! Sign your contract!!!”

About an hour later Eye answered Tate’s question with a post of her own but rather than a photo, Eye recorded a quick video as her response. She also added a small caption to the video as well, “Hey there cupcake @mieshatate don’t worry on my way to gym to sign and practice how I plan to beat you.”

Then about an hour after her initial post, Eye kept her promise and showed herself at her gym signing the agreement to fight Tate making the bout official.

Their fight is three months away but the tension is already building to what should be an exciting stand up bout between two of the top women bantamweights in the UFC. Tate (16-5) has won three in a row since dropping her championship bout to Ronda Rousey back in December of 2013. Eye (11-2) was last seen almost punching Leslie Smith’s ear off during their battle at UFC 180 last November. Eye would go on to win the bout via a TKO.

UFC on Fox 16 will take place on July 25th from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois and will feature a main event between TJ Dillashaw and Renan Barao for the bantamweight championship.
